Every Giant Will Fall

Good Sunday Morning everyone! Today I have another fantastic song to share with you. I find over the weekends God highlights new music for me to work with in the up coming week because this is not the song I was expecting but, like I said, God has put it on my heart and really highlighted it for me. Of course, it’s the fabulous, joyful Rend Collective hit, “Every Giant Will Fall”. Let’s jump right in!

Every Giant Will Fall- Rend Collective

God’s love is never failing and His strength and power is limitless. This song is so beautiful and it fills me with so much joy because I know God is always with me and I never have to worry about my circumstance! See when we look to God and acknowledge that He is able to do anything and everything, then we become bold and fearless. The chorus says, ‘…Every giant will fall, the mountains will move, Every chain of the past, You’ve broken in two, Over fear, over lies, we’re singing the truth, That nothing is impossible with You, With You…’ When our trust is in God every chain will break, every giant will fall, darkness will run, fear will hide and we will triumph over the enemy. Nothing is impossible with God.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

This verse has been on my heart this week and only this weekend God pointed out some new songs for my devotions. Today’s song and devotion was only decided now and the song was only highlighted on Friday. I hadn’t really heard it until Friday came but when I did it struck a chord with my soul. Nothing is impossible with God. Do you believe it? Because if you do, it’s time to take a reckless leap of faith into His arms. Put all your trust in Him and stop worry because, Romans 8:28- And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

God is waiting for us to start trusting in Him. There are idols to be worshipped and giants in the land (Petra), and God wants to help us conquer all of it. We all want to see the mountains move but we will never see it if we are blind. Walking by faith and not by sight is how we will see the mountains move because we are putting our trust in God. ‘…When my fears, like Jericho, Build their walls around my soul, When my heart is overthrown, Your love is my battle cry, The anthem for all my life…’ Fear comes to separate us from God because fear is afraid that with God we won’t have time to spend with it anymore. It’s true, God conquers all fear smashing those walls down bringing freedom, faith, love, hope, forgiveness.

I thank Jesus daily for his sacrifice for my life. We often worry about what the future holds but I know with God we never have to worry.
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
God hold my life and my dreams and I know how much He cares for me. He will never ever let me down, He is my rescue no matter what I do His forgiveness covers all! My future is secure in Jesus because He is always watching over me. ‘… He will make your path straight/ He shall direct your paths.’ He holds everything, why should I not trust Him? I will acknowledge that He is my Lord and the love over my life because He first loved me.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Gods love is reckless and He took the blame and the pain for me. I wish I was perfect so I didn’t have to see Him on that cross, but I’m not so I will always be grateful for His sacrifice. We need to acknowledge that all things are possible if we put our trust in God! Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. So today, let’s choose to trust in the Lord with all our heart. His love has saved us and remade us and through Him all is possible. I want to see mountains move and every giant fall!

God we commit our live to you. You are the rescuer and you have saved me. I repent of any sin, please forgive me and remake me to be the best version possible. I trust in you with all my heart. Please come and fill me again. You are the one true God and I need you every day of my life. Please help me conquer all the giants that stand in my way! Amen
