Fourth Day Of Christmas

Christmas Card

Christmas is a time of love, joy, fellowship and mostly, hope. Christmas is more than what most people think. Christmas is God drawing us close, making us new, giving us life.

Hey guys and welcome back to The Faith Filled Friends. We are so glad you have joined us for another Christmas devotion. Today we are diving deeper into what Christmas is truly about. Let’s dive into it!

Twevle Days Of Christmas

Christmas Card- Steven Curtis Chapman

‘…Christmas lights and decorations everywhere you turn
But all you feel inside is dark and gray
There may be joy for all the world but is there any joy for you
Hold on, love is looking for a way
Hold on, I believe it’s why love came…’

Christmas is hope for us. We see the nativity; we see the angles singing, shepherds worshipping, wise men honouring and we see the love of God.

We have hope for our yesterdays, today and all eternity. It is an amazing thing and Christmas is an incredible reminder.

But at Christmas time, I am reminded that life is short and it doesn’t last forever. That is why Jesus came, we all die. Life is so short, we need to live it well. We need to start loving the ones around us, we need to start giving; our time, our money, our love and God’s love!

This Christmas, I want to remind you that there is hope for everyone, no matter what you have done. God put on flesh to save you and me. That is the message of Christmas, it is hope for everyone.

‘…So I’m sending you this Christmas card
To let you know somebody loves you
And I’m singing you this little song
To let you know you’re not alone…’

So go out and love the people you meet. Write Christmas cards to bring some hope and just share the love of Christ with everyone you meet. That is what Christmas is about.

God Bless

  1. ‘…You’re never forgotten
The God who made you came down to our world
To let us know wherever we are
    He is with us
    Our God is with us
And He really wants to let you know
Just how much He loves you…’

Let’s share the hope that Christmas is this year!
