Hey guys and welcome back to The Faith Filled Friends again. We are super excited to have you join us today for a daily devotion. We will be looking into God’s word for this Sunday devotion. Jesus is the only way, and when our eyes are fixed on Him we will never fall.
The Way- Parachute Band
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.””
‘…We believe that Jesus You are God
You reign in heaven and You reign on earth
For You came to make a way for us
You opened up the door of grace
Jesus it’s Your Name that we proclaim…’
Let’s jump straight into it today. I have really felt this verse on my heart lately. We need to remember that Jesus is the one true God! There is no other God but Him. We think that we can make it to heaven through our money or our good deeds, but God wants our hearts. It is all He really wants and needs. When we trust that He is the only way, well, we have a hope in heaven.
1 Timothy 2:5
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,”
What Jesus spoke and said was truth. He never lead anyone astray but instead He help lead people to God and give us a greater understanding. His parables are a great truth for us. He is also the Way and the Life! Without Jesus there would be no way for us to reach heaven. And without His innocent blood that covers us we would not have life.
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
Our walk of faith won’t be easy as the more on fire we get, the more the enemy tries to drag us down. A lot of people give up chasing the light because, ‘It’s too hard. How can we be sure it is life?’ This is a picture of our faith. We see people giving up the chase and it hurts because we can see the light. Jesus is the way to life. He is our beacon of hope.
‘…For You are the way that’s everlasting
Giving it all to set us free
The Truth, the Life, the One, You are the Way…’
There is no other way. The only way is through Jesus. It may be rough, it may be scary and it may hurt, but where else can we go? What else can we do? The truth is, Jesus died for our sins, He rose again and now we can live in the grace that He purchased.
I don’t know what you are walk through right now, but I want to remind you. No matter how hard or scary life gets, Jesus still reigns and His grace reaches that far.
He is the way, the only way!
