Live Like You’re Loved
Hey guys and welcome back to The Faith Filled Friends. We decided to end this series with a special devotion just like we did with “HARD Love”. This is the pretty bow on the nicely wrapped present. After we know that we are loved and we matter, what does that mean for us? Let’s get into it!
Live Like You’re Loved- Hawk Nelson
We have talked about how loved we are. We have talked about how much we matter to God. So now what should that do for us?
‘…You’re not the only one who feels like this, feelin’ like you lose more than you win, like life is just an endless hill you climb, you try and try, but never arrive…’
We so often feel the need to earn this love and value. We sometimes hear that it isn’t works that gets us to God, it is just His grace.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Grace is a gift from God.
Undeserved favour. It is incredible to think that God could love us so much that He would die for us. I mean, God can’t die, so He had to make Himself human so that He could die by our hands.
We don’t have to try and earn this grace. We matter to God and that is all we need to know. Grace is grace and we don’t deserve it, but we get it.
“And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.”
You and I matter. We are loved. It is time we start living this reality.
‘…So go ahead and live like you’re loved, it’s ok to act like you’ve been set free, his love has made you more than enough, so go ahead and be who he made you to be…
…LIVE LIKE YOU’RE LOVED…’
This searching and racing needs to end. You matter so much more than you can comprehend. So, it is time to live like you are. Smile, laugh, give generously, love unconditionally! We don’t deserve to be loved, but we are so we should do the same to others.
When you acknowledge that you matter to God and that you are loved, then you’re personality should change. When you live like you’re loved others can see you in all the joy. We are a light to the world, we should show others that there is love and value in Jesus… In fact, Jesus is the only place we can find love, truth and grace.
Everyone matters to God.
It is time to show the world that they matter as well!
Thank you so much for the support through this devotion. We have really enjoyed doing this series, it was a word God had placed on our hearts. We know the truth and we just can’t help but share it. I hate depression, because the person just isn’t looking to God. You matter so much to God, everything you do have importance. So thank you once again for joining us. We pray that these devotions blessed you and any friends or family that might be struggling.
