Living In The Psalms
Hey guys and welcome back to The Faith Filled Friends! It is great to be back and we are so excited to dive into another Psalm. Scripture Saturday is always great because we get to read straight from the word of God. We will be looking at probably the most famous Psalm today, Psalm 23. Let’s dive into it.
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his nameʼs sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Our God is good. He is our father and our great shepherd. We are so weak and so frail and on our own we go astray and get lost, but God always brings us back. We we face trails, our God goes before us.
No matter what you are going through you can always trust God because He is good. He wants what’s best for you. Even we you go through pain, know that He loves you and it will all work out for the good. Because, “Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life…” Our God is so good and His love endures forever. I pray that we would never forget that.
