Afternoon everyone, I hope you are all well. I am filling in for Gad for the next few days while he is away. This afternoon, I want to share a great Chris Tomlin song with you that is based on Psalm 100. It is a song that prepares us for worshipping God. It calls us to enter into His court with praise. It is also a reminder about God’s unending love and faithfulness towards us. I hope you enjoy this one.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
God is worthy of our praise, we can come to Him and worship Him freely because of His unending love and faithfulness. We have life because of His death, it was our victory. He has given us so much to be thankful for because every good thing is a blessing from Him.
May we come to God every day and praise His name. We don’t have to wait for church on Sunday to worship. It may be as simple as thanking God for his amazing creation or the beautiful sunset, but there is always a reason to praise God!
“For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations”. Verse five is full of God’s promises to us. We can thank God for who is He. We serve an incredible God, so what will you praise God for today?
Psalm 92:1-6 It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD; I sing for joy at what your hands have done. How great are your works, LORD, how profound your thoughts! Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand,
Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
Thank you Lord for who you are, may we find a reason to give you praise for the God you are and for all you have done. May we come to you with thankfulness and be reminded of your goodness, love and faithfulness to us. In your name I pray, Amen.
