How To Be Unshakable

Unshakable. There are two ways to spell this beautiful word. But why is the word UNSHAKABLE such an important word to us Christians?

Unshakable. Steadfast. Resolute. Constant. Unwavering. Committed.

These are big words and it’s not to scare you. This may be a list of different words, but they all mean the same thing. UNSHAKABLE.

As Christians we need an unshakable faith in God. God is God and if He is real then He can do anything.

Proverbs 9:10- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

So many Christians have a wishy washy faith. They believe in God and they love the fact that He forgives them and loves them but they do not fear Him. God does forgive, even the worst of sins, but we need to repent, which means to turn. We need to follow Jesus with everything, even when it is tough. UNSHAKABLE!

This is a new series that we will be starting and the whole team would love you all to jump on board and support it. It is a new chapter and I feel that this is an important message for these times. We need to be committed to Jesus with everything, living our lives for Him and Him alone. Life gets hard and challenges come our way but we must never shake and fall away from God. In Him we will bury our roots, so that we may be… UNSHAKABLE!

Hebrews 11:1- Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

  1. Hey guys. Sorry that there was no devotion yesterday. I was super busy and we had connect groups at night. I planned on writing it once we got home but when we finally did, it was already today… (Way past my bed time 😉 )! So now I will probably end up doing the Throwback Thursday devotion tomorrow.

Forget “Scripture Saturday on a Friday,” we now have, “Throwback Thursday on a Friday”. So does that make it a Throwback or a Throwforward…? Hmmm, well that is a debate in itself.

I am really passionate about this series so I was so upset I missed the devotion yesterday.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed todays devotion.

    God Bless
