Scripture Saturday

Deuteronomy 7:9

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.”

2 Timothy 2:13
“If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.”

Our God is a faithful God! His love never fails and it never runs out. At times we may feel alone and we may get overwhelmed by fear and sadness, but God has never left our side. Christ is alive in us! The same power the rose Jesus from the grave lives in us! Can you believe it?

Life gets hard and we can let our emotions effect the way we look at God. But our God is beautiful. His love is relentless and it never ends. When we face trials and tribulations let us sing to the Lord with joy, “It is well with my soul!” It is so profound and so powerful. Jesus is in control and we must learn to praise Him in the storms! He is faithful, so let’s not forget His promise in Jeremiah 29:11!

This verse really reminded me about another Tenth Avenue North devotion based off one of their songs. I hope this blesses you guys!

  2. Amen Gad! Our God is faithful! Even when we might be struggling, God is with us and and will stay by our side. We have this hope in the depths of our soul. God Bless.

  3. This song… also a Tenth Ave song just popped into my head as I was reading the devotion. It is amazing how God works. Its called “By Your Side” and it talks about God’s faithfulness.

    Especially this verse; “Cause I’ll be by your side wherever you fall
    In the dead of night whenever you call
    And please don’t fight these hands that are holding you
    My hands are holding you”.
