Let It Be Known

Psalm 105:1 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.

Hey Everyone, I hope you’re all having a fantastic week. Today I have some Lincoln Brewster for you. He is not a well known artist to me, but since Gad covered some of his new work I have been enjoying listening to his new album ‘Oxygen’. This song is called ‘Let It Be Known’ and it’s all about telling the good news about Jesus! We want the gospel to be shared everywhere we go. People need to hear about the news of salvation! I hope you enjoy this one.

“Let it be known that our God saves, our God reigns, we lift You up, let it be known that love has come, love has won, we lift You up up Woah oh…”

God has done something amazing in becoming one of us and coming to earth to pay the price for our sins. God became flesh and died in our place because He loves us. We live for a  God that saves. Through Jesus, we have life to the full and salvation from sin. May the world know that our God saves. Jesus didn’t just die for our sins and that was it. He rose again after three days, giving us new life and defeating death and He now reigns in heaven. He is above all things and everything is in His control. We can give God the glory and praise because He has saved us and now He reigns for eternity. It is the love of God that came to earth and saved us through Jesus. It is because Jesus loves us so much more than we can ever imagine that He came to save us. Even though we were sinners, He didn’t want us to stay that way. Once we were lost but now we are found!

Acts 13:38 Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.

Exodus 15:18 The Lord reigns for ever and ever.

Isaiah 12:5 Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.

Let’s lift up Jesus because He has saved us through His love and grace! May the good news known wherever we are and be unashamed that our God saves and reigns. Whether it’s at WAAPA, Uni or Bible College, let’s proclaim the gospel. Just like Caitlin said in her ‘Turn It Up’ devotion, we always have a reason to praise God and it is very good news that needs to be heard by everyone.

I thank you Lord that you have saved us through your amazing love and grace and that you reign. May we have the courage and opportunity to proclaim the good news to those who need to hear it. It is too good not to be heard. We give you thanks and praise for all you have done God. In Jesus name, Amen.

May God Bless you,

Josh Clarke- The Faith Filled Friends

  1. This is such a classic song. It’s a typical youth song but that’s what makes it awesome. God’s name should be lifted high above it all! I think this is a common theme because God has also put it on my heart. Lets shine him in everything we do!
