Hi beautiful people and welcome to Scripture Saturday! I do hope that you are all enjoying your weekend. Today’s devotion will be focused on the scripture from the book of Titan. The other day I saw this scripture pop up and at that moment God instantly spoke to me. I have been called to to share this scripture with you all and I hope you enjoy it!
Titus 2:11-14 – 11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope – the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good.
We are all so lucky that we have been saved by the grace of God! Our God behold a everything, and He loves us so much! Being a Christian and giving our lives to God means that we do not have to fear death, because we have eternal life in heaven. When we are saved we transform and we become a different person. We no longer delve into the things we used to and we do not fall for the temptations which life can sometimes throw at us. With God we have the self control to know when to stop and when to continue. Even when we think God doesn’t know what we are thinking, He really does! He knows us better than anyone on this earth as He created us. The most important thing is that Jesus Christ gave His life for us, and we must serve the way Jesus served. Jesus was the perfect man, and although we are no where near as perfect as Him and we never will be, we have been called to walk the way He did, and we can be encouraged to encourage others to come to know who Jesus is. He lives to this day and He loves us all so much! Let’s praise Him for who He is!
Father I thank you so much for salvation you have brought for us. You are our true hero and You have risen us up to be the people of Christ we are today. May we continue to serve you forever more and we praise You for everything You have done. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
God Bless you all,
