You Lead

Hey everyone, it’s me again and I am here to share a little bit of a morning devotion! It will be shorter than normal as I will focus it on a verse and a song that will encourage all of us today.

Today’s scripture devotion will be based on the Jamie Grace song “You Lead”. Not many people have heard of Jamie Grace so I would like to share this great song with all of you today! It’s go time…

So this song talks about how we need to place Jesus as the very first and best thing in our life. We are human and we don’t know what’s best for us so if we try lead our own way then we will just stumble and fall. But if we let God lead then we can never go wrong. We need to learn to give God EVERYTHING because His ways are higher and His plans are greater.

‘…So pull me out of this mess I’m in, Cause I know I’m wanderin’, Lead my soul back home again, I’ve always been yours…’ Life isn’t always easy or fair but we have got to never let it drag us down. We need to build our foundation in Christ as He is strong and we never shake. When we mess up and we end up far from God we need to acknowledge that He is the Lord and we must surrender everything to Him. Once we do this we can finally be saved by His grace. Let Him lead you for all your days because He knows what is best for you and for me.

Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.
Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.

Today lets all give God control! Let Him lead because when He leads nothing can go wrong.
